Our first foray into this new world is spectacular given how unachievable it might have seemed. Our customer – a keen collector and owner of several legendary Rolex® Daytona® timepieces – set us the challenge of replacing the regulating organ of the legendary Calibre 4130 with a tourbillon escapement without modifying the initial functions of the chronograph.

After modifying the Calibre 4130 movement with the addition of a tourbillon escapement, this ‘skeletonised’ version strikes the perfect balance between refinement and robustness. The watch’s movement can be seen beneath a redesigned dial that only retains the essential indications to breathtaking effect.
